Created by Edward Tufte—a retired professor from Yale University—the location is a sprawling 234-acre tree farm that is replete with stunning sculptures made of metal and stone. Dr. Tufte specifically designed the intricate works of art via quantitative data analysis in order to create their unique geometric patterns and shapes.

• Travel to the renowned Litchfield Historical District. A U.S. National Historic Landmark District, this fascinating historic site constitutes the borders of downtown Litchfield. In fact, the U.S. Department of the Interior has since deemed the area to be one of the best-preserved examples of an 18th-century New England village.
