Stroll down Hollywood Road and Cat Street. Hollywood Road in Central is lined with galleries and antique shops offering ancient and contemporary, Asian and Western works. A very different expression of creativity can be seen in the form of art and graffiti on the walls of the many little alleys leading off the street. A short walk leads to Upper Lascar Row – known as Cat Street – where visitors can find rare Ming dynasty furniture, an ancient snuff bottle, or even a Cultural Revolution propaganda poster.

Visit Lantau Island, the largest of Hong Kong's islands located at the mouth of the Pearl River. Buddhist architecture; fireworks over Sleeping Beauty's castle; a long sandy beach; a mall of shopping outlets — Lantau Island has it all. This island also features a sitting 34-meter high Tian Tan Buddha statue. The ideal springboard to exploring Lantau Island and the Buddha is the Ngong Ping 360, a cable car that departs daily from Tung Chung.
