Step through the large oak double doors and be taken away by the authentic hardwood floors and light fixtures from the original opening in 1931. Visit the Circa ’31 dining room, which has two large murals on the wall from the original grand opening on May 28, 1931, donated by a local artist after reopening the doors in 2008 finishing a multimillion-dollar renovation.

Climb the beautiful spiral staircase in the lobby, which has been admired by architects and visitors since its completion. An original piece by Mr. J.R. Mims himself, the blueprints were burned as soon as they were finished so the staircase couldn’t be replicated.
