- Explore famous and ancient rock formations on Mackinac Island at Arch Rock. The arch towers soar above the water and are more than fifty feet wide and only 1.2 miles from the hotel. Arch Rock can be accessed by foot, taxi, carriage, or by biking.
- Spend the day at Mackinac Island State Park, Michigan’s first state park. This park was first established in 1895 and over 80% of the park remains in its natural condition. The park consists of historic landmarks, breathtaking vistas, quiet forests, unique rock formations, and nature trails that suit all guests that visit. The facility is state-of-the-art with a 1,800 square foot tropical garden that is filled with hundreds of live butterflies from four different continents.
