The carriage tours are the most favored way in exploring the island as well as the most authentic, as it is one of the oldest Horse and Buggy Services offered. The carriage tours first began providing tours of the island in 1869 when the first city carriage license was issued. Today, guests can experience the sightseeing tour in a horse-drawn carriage and visit the landmarks on the island.

The Isle Royale Queen III is a charming 81’ vessel that features a full-service interior bar, advanced sound system, and multiple outdoor viewing areas for guests to enjoy the ocean breeze. It is a popular option for bachelor/bachelorette parties or birthday celebrations as DJs and entertainers are allowed on board to accommodate for the event. The cruise sets sail about one mile from Hotel Iroquois.
