1847 Bar
Every great hotel has a great bar to steal away to, and 1847 is the Grand Hotel's. 1847 is home to the beverage arts, with Grand Garden-to-glass crafted cocktails, local libations and signature wines by the glass all getting in on the act. The titular drink is made of Alabama Dettling bourbon, house made estate honey mint syrup and fresh lemon juice; this is not to be missed!

During summer Sundays from 3pm-7pm, enjoy one of the best places to watch a sunset along the Gulf Coast. Mobile Bay’s sunset is an experience of its own and a custom hand-crafted cocktail will only complement that experience. Participate in the daily ringing of the sunset bell 30 minutes before sunset, when we celebrate the end of the day and the beginning of the night. Our waterfront ambiance is enhanced with fire pits, sofa chairs, and cozy blankets to ensure the most comfortable atmosphere.
