Discover the Wyndham Merida, which features beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival-style architecture.

Wyndham Merida was constructed in the years leading up to World War I, which was an era defined by its economic prosperity, artistic expression, and political intrigue.

The roots of Wyndham Merida date back to 1912, when it was first constructed in the glorious style of Spanish Colonial architecture. Originally built as a residence, the structure was sought after for its charming aesthetics. At its advent, the building was located on the most prominent avenue of Merida, which allowed the structure to flourish greatly over the years. The residence was gradually converted into a hotel, further known as Wyndham Merida. Today, the hotel continues to welcome visitors who prize a historically authentic experience.
