Historic Hotel
Originally built in 1883, this Historic Hotel features clapboard siding and classic architecture that displays its distinguished history. Affording thoughtfully-restored accommodations, the Historic Hotel is the location of many of the resort's restaurants and the relaxing spa.

Boasting garden or lake views, the 137 elegant guestrooms, including 54 suites, are equipped with updated furnishings.

Exuding a club-style ambiance, Guestrooms and One Bedroom Parlor Suites are adorned with original art, decorative accessories, and marble baths with pedestal sinks to pamper every guest.

Designed as a contemporary retreat, the Two Bedroom Suite features overstuffed chairs and ottomans, comfortable pillow-top bedding, and baths accented with marble and pedestal sinks.

Governor's Rooms and One and Two Bedroom Suites boast spectacular panoramic views of Lake George.

The Lodges
Featuring sleek, modern decor, Lodge Suites and Guestrooms have recently undergone renovation while still maintaining an "Adirondack chic." Updates include tile flooring, carpet, wallpaper, stainless steel kitchen appliances, beautiful new cabinets, and gorgeous granite counter tops in the Lodge Suites.

Located on the walk-in and lower levels of The Lodges, guestrooms and suites boast soft furnishings, including new bedding, window treatments, and carpets. Walk-in Lodge Guestrooms are equipped with double or king-size bed accommodations with views of the walkway and parking lot.

Suites offer a private balcony with lake views, kitchen, living area with gas fireplace, dining alcove and spacious bath with separate tub and walk-in shower.

The Lodge buildings encircle the island, a short walk or shuttle ride to the hotel.

Hermitage – Lake George Suites
Originally a 19th century carriage house, the Hermitage features ten bi-level suites furnished with a separate living room and dining/work area, small wet bar, and a staircase leading to a lofted bedroom with a king-size bed and bath furnished in contemporary Adirondack-style decor. Accommodations in The Hermitage are ideal for families with children six and up. For families with toddlers, the family suites are ideal.

The Castle
Situated on the lake next to The Sagamore Resort's historic hotel, the Wapanak Castle is a historic six-bedroom, four-bath home furnished with five gas-logged fireplaces, a large modern kitchen and dining room, a formal living room, and a uniquely decorated family room leading out to the lower deck and lake. With two king-size beds, three queen-size beds, and one double bed, The Castle can accommodate up to 12 people. The upstairs bedrooms are individually air-conditioned, while ceiling fans and refreshing lake breezes cool the public area.
