Met Restaurant
Combining the delicate flavors of Venice with the spices and aromas from the Orient, Chef Corrado Fasolato creates a unique and delightful dining experience at the two Michelin-starred Met Restaurant, one of Venice’s most exclusive restaurants. His highly alternative, fusion cuisine is imaginative, surprising, and magnificent. In harmony with the exceptional cuisine, the Met Restaurant dining room is pervaded by soft light by Murano glass chandeliers created by the Seguso glassworks, providing a discreet and atmospheric presence. Priceless antiques such as sculptures, 17th-century pictures and engravings recall the tradition of a Venice devoted to art.
The Oriental Bar
The Oriental Bar is an enchanting Moroccan-style corner with mellow lights, soft sofas, and damask cushions. Each corner of this stylish bar is filled with treasures, from the windows, a breathtaking view of the Island of San Giorgio; on the walls, elegant Fortuny lamps and original Thai armoires of the late 19th century. A variety of snacks and a lunch menu are offered during the day. Before dinner, guests can enjoy appetizers, precious hams, and tasty cheeses paired with sumptuous cocktails. From the Venetian spritz to original-theme cocktails, a wide range of combinations with particular and delicate flavors are all available. In the winter, the bar is home to the charming Rite of Tea, where guests can choose among 10 leaf tea blends to go with delicious homemade pastries and exquisite sandwiches. On Friday evenings, the resident DJ Valentino Borgia enlivens the evenings with music.
The Oriental Bar Garden
Peaceful and discrete, The Oriental Bar Garden is a green oasis imbued with fragrant jasmine and verdent palms. From April to October, The Oriental Bar Garden is hosted in a charming outdoor space with a 16th-century puteal, a lovely Orangerie, white linen and a white gazebo.
