A completely modernized and renovated pool area on the fifth floor of the hotel has been open Since the end of November 2018. The 5 by 11 meter pool with a depth of 1.34 meters is surrounded by a modern ambience and furniture. The pleasant water temperature is kept at 28°C (82.4°F) the whole year. A blue-tile mirror with the Taschenbergpalais logo is shown on the bottom of the pool, as one of the new design elements. Bright and precious lounge suites invite guests to relax on the right and left of the pool. Spacious, bright and luxurious changing rooms with lockable compartments, as well as bathrobes and slippers, are available for guests. Refreshing drinks are served at the wellness bar.

The newly redesigned sauna area impresses with state-of-the-art equipment and unique baroque design elements that reflect Dresden’s cityscape. The two Finnish saunas inspire with special architectural details. Guests will adore the copper kettle for aroma infusions, an oversized clock by C.H.
