Discover Hotel Gran Casa Xalisco, which was once a textile factory known as "Bonetera Jalisciense."
Hotel Gran Casa Xalisco was constructed during the historic reign of the United Kingdom’s famed Queen Victoria, who sat on the British throne from 1837 to 1901.
Constructed in 1895, Hotel Gran Casa Xalisco was built within the former well-known textile factory, “Bonetera Jalisciense.” This renowned historic site bears the distinction of being the first industrial enterprise in all of Guadalajara. It is one of most recognizable landmarks in the city’s Mexicaltzingo neighborhood, as its brilliantly restored Spanish Colonial Revival architecture is among best preserved of its kind in the entire country. The hotel offers ten comfortable guestrooms, centrally arranged around a large courtyard, featuring high ceilings and some furnished with classic pieces from the owners’ personal legacy collection. It is even just two blocks from 16 de Septiembre Avenue and three blocks from Niños Heroes Avenue.
