Hacienda Lomajim was constructed between the 14th and 17th centuries, in which novel approaches to art and science spread throughout Europe.

Dating back to the 17th century, Hacienda Lomajim has been lovingly restored from a historic residence to a 15-room luxury boutique hotel. Once a self-sufficient colonial estate, the hacienda belonged to a wealthy plantation owner shortly before the beginning of the Mexican Revolution. This wonderful historic site still features many of its original buildings, including a chapel, grand fountains, and an immense garden. It also continues to operate as a working farm, as it possesses such facilities like stables, warehouses, corrals, chicken houses, and an aviary.
