Gran Real Yucatan was constructed amid the European embrace of art that championed emotion, individualism, and nature during the first half of the 19th century.

Gran Real Yucatan boasts a wonderful history that harkens back to the 19th century. The first owners of the building used the location to grow henequen, which they transported to Europe for export. In return, they managed to acquire many lavish items with which to decorate the home. The structure still features many of its original fixtures from that era, including its support columns, flooring and window fixtures. Gran Real Yucatan represents Spanish Colonial-style architecture amid its modern upkeep, with a bounty of fresh, floral accents that welcome guests to this day.
