The 48-room Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri, the oldest house in Bekkjarvik, was built in the late 17th century and has received guests for over 300 years. Guests can stay in the Tønnefabrikken - the barrel factory, in the mansion, or main house. The historic barrel factory has a small museum with barrel making machines and houses the family rooms and suites. These rooms have sea views and a living room with historic touches. The main house was built in 1917 and was used by the Halstensen family. It has been recently refurbished and furnished with new furniture, while retaining its antique, exclusive style, and great comfort.
