• Discover the south wall of the buffet room and discover an exposed area of the original adobe block wall dating back to the early 1900s. In the main dining room, find traditional southwestern hand-peeled vigas and saguaro cactus rib latilla construction, techniques dating back to the Ancestral Puebloans.

• Stroll through the dining rooms to find a collection of Allen Tupper True’s paintings. His famous murals are found in the Wyoming, Missouri, and Colorado State Capitols as well as inside the Hoover Dam. He’s also widely recognized for designing the bucking horse on the Wyoming license plate.

• Venture back in time at the Trincheras of Los Morteros Site, Dairy Site, and Barchas Site to see traces of what life was like for the Hohokam from 850 to 1300 AD. Archeological tours are available monthly through Old Pueblo Archeology Center.
