• Discover the history of the Omni Severin. Opened in 1913 as the Grand Hotel of Indianapolis, it stands as one of the last remaining structures in the Indianapolis Union Station Wholesale District and is part of the historic district.
• Admire the Sevrin Ballroom Lobby which features the original Austrian Crystal chandelier. The original 1913 mailbox still serves as the working mailbox in the hotel today. On each elevator landing are dressers from the 1913 Severin guestrooms and chairs with the hand-carved Severin “S” logo can be found throughout the hotel.
• Gaze upon the marble staircase leading from the Severin Lobby and Mezzanine levels. The staircase is also original to the hotel and the original railings were found in a barn in Whiteland and restored and placed in their original setting.
