• Explore the magnificence of Hanging Lake Park. Now a National Natural Landmark, this amazing outdoor destination is accessible only by trailhead. Nevertheless, Hanging Lake is a popular destination with its cascading waterfalls and verdantly rich canopy of trees.

• Visit Linwood Cemetery and Doc Holliday’s Grave nearby. Doc Holliday was once a masterful gunfighter who rose to national prominence for his role in the shootout at the O.K. Corral. Holliday eventually died in Glenwood Springs, having visited the town in hopes that its environment would help cure him of tuberculosis.

• Travel to the historic Cardiff Coke Ovens. Originally constructed in 1888 by John Osgood, this historical landmark was once a sprawling coal coke factory. It even contained around 500 ovens at the height of its productivity!
