Hotel Boulderado opened before admiring crowds on New Year’s Day, 1909, as Boulder’s first luxury hotel. It was immediately described by the local paper as “the pride of the city.” This landmark building, with its Italian Renaissance architectural elements, has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur. The original Otis elevator, which the hotel centers around, is still in operation, transporting guests not only to their rooms but also back in time.
