• Explore Forksville Covered Bridge and Country Store. Built in the mid-19th century, both the covered bridge and the accompanying storefront were originally the property of Sadler Rogers. The bridge itself is among the most historic in all of Pennsylvania and is just one of three left in all of Sullivan County.
• Visit the Endless Mountains War Memorial Museum in neighboring Sonestown. This amazing cultural institution features a massive personal collection of military artifacts that saw service in five different conflicts in America’s history.
• Travel to French Azilum several miles away. Founded in 1793, French Azilum was a village created by sympathetic Philadelphians to shelter refugees fleeing the French Revolution. The town covered some 300-acres and even featured a log cabin for Marie Antoinette in the event she managed to escape from France.
