• Explore the Beaches Museum, which offers exhibits and events on the history of Jacksonville’s beach communities. Be sure to explore the Beaches Museum Chapel and 1911 train engine, and wander through the Heritage Garden.

• Explore the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, which includes the original garden designs and a portion of Ninah Cummer’s home with its historic furnishings. The permanent collection of the museum currently includes over 5,000 works of art dating from 2100 B.C., and features European and American paintings and a large collection of Meissen porcelain.

• Explore the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens located at the mouth of the Trout River, and see the over 2,000 animals and 1,000 plants spread across 117 acres. Encounter butterflies, stingrays, and other animals throughout the compound, and see the beautiful themed gardens.
