Barry Baldwin is known in southwest Pennsylvania for his electrical and mechanical contracting business, which oversaw the development of Urban Place, a series of restored 19th-century manufacturing buildings on New Holland Pike. Urban Place is now a destination site with offices, dining and shopping venues as well as the Cork Factory Hotel, a member of the Historic Hotels of America.
In April of this year, Baldwin unveiled another labor-of-love to the Lancaster community. Barry's Car Barn is a stunning new museum, featuring Baldwin's 50-vehicle, 10-motorcycle personal collection. These cars range from the 1930s through the 1970s and there are plans to include even more restored vehicles in the future.
