• Discover Timberline Lodge's Rachael Griffin Historic Exhibition Center that showcases the art and artifacts of the lodge. The Rachael Griffin museum includes a model guestroom, the Coyote Den for media presentations, and examples of all crafts used at the lodge from woodwork and iron to textiles and art.
• Stand on the FDR Terrace in front of the lodge and enjoy sweeping views of the Cascade mountain range. This is the very spot form which President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the lodge "as a monument to the skill and faithful performance of workers on the rolls of the Works Progress Administration."
• Admire the warmth and comfort of the Main Headhouse, with its forty-foot old-growth pine ceiling struts, massive 92-foot stone chimney stack, and handmade decor. Timberline is home to crafts as well as fine arts, which can be discovered throughout the lodge. Glass mosaics and wood carvings depict Oregon's wildlife all over the building, painted by some of the Northwest's finest artists.
