• Savor an evening of fine dining in the resort’s 1865 Wine Cellar, an intimate dining venue situated in a slate-lined wine cellar that houses the resort’s wine collection. Each dish is crafted by the culinary team to reflect New England, with a special emphasis on northern New Hampshire.
• Enjoy the local craft-beer scene with an afternoon or evening’s pours at Schilling Beer Company, located on the banks of the Ammonoosuc River in nearby Littleton. Residing in a renovated three-story gristmill from around 1797r, Schilling focuses on progressive continental European-inspired beers. Two taps of seasonal Schilling beer are also available in the resort’s Harvest Tavern.
• Taste the famous flapjacks (or waffles or French toast) topped with authentic New Hampshire maple syrup at Polly’s Pancake Parlor, a breakfast institution in nearby Sugar Hill. Wilfred and Pauline “Polly” Taylor opened a tea room in 1938 to showcase their maple products. Today, with a full-service restaurant now expanded to three times the original space, diners can enjoy the pancakes and maple syrup while learning about the rich history of maple sugaring in the region.
