• Take in the stunning panoramic mountain views that first captured the imagination of travelers back in 1865, when these vistas captivated visitors and led Frank and Mary Dodge to take in boarders at their humble family farm then convert it into an inn they named the Mountain View House. Accommodating visitors ever since, the resort was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
