• Discover the colonial history of the Morris House Hotel. It was originally built by architect John Reynolds who worked with his brother, William, to create the three-and-a-half story townhome. The Reynolds family moved in when the building was completed in the late 1780s, a pivotal time in American history. During their time living in the house, the city of Philadelphia and the newly formed United States of America not only grew around them, but thrived.

• Marvel at the Georgian-style architecture of the Morris House Hotel. The architectural style was popular in the area, and American architects created their own unique interpretation which was referred to as "Federal" style.

• Enjoy the gorgeous garden courtyard at the Morris House Hotel. This lush outdoor space is a hidden oasis in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district and is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal or a drink while enjoying the outdoors. The courtyard is one of the event spaces in the hotel and is the perfect setting for a romantic outdoor wedding.
