Inn at Perry Cabin is a boutique style historic hotel built by Samuel Hambleton in the early 1800s in tribute to Hambleton’s Commodore, Oliver Hazard Perry, during the War of 1812. Designed in 1816,Hambleton called his home the “Perry Cabin Farm,” as he designed the north wing of the manor house to resemble Commodore Perry’s cabin on his flagship Niagara. Today, Inn at Perry Cabin is an iconic waterfront resort, combining the elements from the original architecture of the home with classic American design, and a celebrated nautical identity. Casually elegant, yet luxurious, the resort destination provides guests with sweeping views of the Miles River, world-class amenities ,and authentic Eastern Shore waterfront dining.
