Walk famous streets like Pacific Avenue and learn about the venues where Chubby Checker first debuted the "Twist" (1960), and Bill Haley & His Comets performed "Rock Around the Clock" (1954).

• Take an early-morning bike ride up and down the length of the five-mile island to appreciate all the sights before the daytime crowds hit the boardwalk and shores. Bike-rental shops abound on the island.

• Experience stunning views of the Delaware Bay at the Cap May Lighthouse. Listed on the U.S. National Reigster of Historic Places, the Cape May Lighthouse has stood watch over the area since 1859.
