Hardanger can rightly be described as the cradle of National Romanticism. It is difficult to imagine a better setting for a wedding than the white blossoms on the fruit trees, the shimmering white glacier and the deep-blue fjord waters.

The staff can even help arrange the wedding ceremony in the quaint stone church made famous in Tidemand and Gude’s wonderful painting of the “Bridal Procession on the Hardangerfjord” – a perfect setting for a special day. Hotel Ullensvang has a number of large and small function rooms available as well, which can be used both for the actual wedding ceremony and for the celebratory reception. These suites can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 350 persons.
