Built as a private home in 1896, it was first opened to guests in 1907, and in 1944 served as the headquarters for the Conference Secretariat during the 44-nation Bretton Woods Monetary Conference. The Inn was granted National Historic Landmark designation in 1986 and has recently undergone a $1.4 million renovation focused on bringing the outdoors in. Part of the Omni Mount Washington Resort, this charming property offers AAA Four Diamond dining, picturesque gardens, cozy accommodations, and warm, personalized service.
